  • “Ms. Amy is an incredible teacher, and my 6 yo daughter absolutely loves her reading comprehension class on Outschool! The class is thoughtfully structured, starting with warm-up chats that make the environment friendly and engaging. Ms. Amy's patient and encouraging teaching style has made a huge difference in my daughter's confidence and ability to understand what she reads. The stories and activities are not only educational but also fun and age-appropriate. Ms. Amy emphasizes key skills like fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension techniques, and her approach to helping students master details, main ideas, and inferences is fantastic. My daughter particularly enjoys the personalized feedback and the interactive format, which keeps her motivated and excited to learn. The weekly communication with parents is a great touch, keeping us informed about progress and suggesting ways to reinforce learning at home. Ms. Amy truly cares about her students and goes above and beyond to ensure they succeed. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to support their child's reading journey!”

Questions parents ask

Something else? Email support@example.com.

Which grades do you teach?

Pre-K through 8th grade, in five groups: Pre-K–K, grades 1–2, 3–4, 5–6 and 7–8. Each group has live classes 4 times a week on a fixed weekly schedule, so you can plan a routine.

How long are live classes, and how big?

Pre-K through 2nd grade classes are 25 minutes, sized for young attention spans. Grades 3–8 are 40 minutes. Classes have up to 10 students (15 for grades 6–8), so every child gets attention.

How many live classes are included?

All-Access includes 3 live classes a week, or 4 a week for Pre-K–2nd since their classes are shorter. Weeks run Monday to Sunday. Unused classes don't carry over.

How does booking work?

Classes open for booking 7 days ahead and seats are first-come, first-served. In the last 24 hours before a class, any open seat can be booked by any All-Access family without using one of their weekly classes.

What if we need to cancel a class?

Cancel at least 24 hours ahead and it doesn't count toward your week. Later cancellations still count. If Ms. Amy cancels a class, it never counts.

We have more than one child. How do siblings work?

All-Access covers one child in live classes. Add each sibling for $14.99/month: they become a full participant and your household gets one more class a week, shared however you like. Siblings can attend the same class. A sibling without the add-on may watch quietly from the same screen, but can't join on their own device or take part.

Do you offer 1-on-1 tutoring?

Yes. Members on either plan can book a 25-minute 1-on-1 session with Ms. Amy for $25, up to 2 a week per family. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund; later cancellations and missed sessions aren't refunded.

What if a grade group is full?

To keep classes small, each grade group has a limited number of All-Access spots. If yours is full, join the waitlist from your dashboard. You can start with the Video Library in the meantime.

What's in the video library?

Recorded lessons organized by grade and subject, some with a printable worksheet. Both memberships include the full library, and new lessons are added regularly.

Does my child need their own account?

No. A parent or guardian creates the account and adds each child with just a first name or nickname and a grade level. Children never sign in or create profiles.

Are classes recorded?

No. Live classes and tutoring sessions are not recorded. Ms. Amy uses a Zoom waiting room and admits only children who are booked.

Can I cancel or change my membership?

Yes, any time from your Membership page. Plan changes and sibling add-ons are prorated. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.
